2022 Impact Report
It's been another eventful year full of significant victories for the Greater Sacramento region and Sac Metro Chamber.
Getting it done in 2022
Recovering together
We went to work from our brand new office space supporting the business community’s recovery from the pandemic, meeting workforce demands, and advocating for newly discovered business needs.
Focused on connection
We focused on connection and returned many of our programs and membership events to their in-person format. Our advocacy for Measure O’s Shelter and Enforcement Act made national news when it was approved by Sacramento Voters.
For business
We launched the MetroBusiness Center to provide the resources and support that businesses needed to grow.
Rebuilding and thriving
We embraced our role as the region’s leader for business and fought hard to give our community what it needed to rebuild and thrive.
Thank you for supporting us as business partners and members. We're excited to share all our big wins with you.

Through 124 meetings on Capitol Hill, the delegation made specific asks for time and treasure to benefit the Sacramento Region.
The results
Both Cap-to-Cap and Study Mission’s public policy teams were instrumental in supporting our executive team as it crafted the Shelter and Enforcement Act of 2022.
The Act was added to the Sacramento City ballot in November as Measure O which was passed by voters on November 8, 2022. When enacted, Measure O will codify an immediate and urgent response from the city government to address homelessness.
